"So much about being alive in this world - the things we see, hear, taste, think about, these things wash over us. Sometimes warmly and gently, and at other times they come on in a torrent - bracing and cold. People we have known, ideas we have discovered, melodies, atmospheres, flavors, fragrances, all become part of who we are, what we dream and what we have to share. Friendship begins with this. I'm keeping an open mind in finding a common thread with that special someone. While I've experienced good meetings, lightning always strikes unexpected. With no expectations, nothing serious in mind - something will likely happen. My idea is to find in a new friendship, someone to share with on this level. At times exploring together new modes of expression, perhaps even creating together. Friendship is first before anything else. Reading a profile, determining if the persons right for you, 10 minute interviews to determine if it's not a fireworks moment. I don't believe in that. No one can determine a kindred spirit until there is time to get to know someone. email is impersonal with no tone of voice, no real laughter, no live conversation, and no time together. I'd rather meetup and talk."
